The boy group ZEROBASEONE is making a new history in K-pop not only domestically but also in Japan, the second-largest music market in the world.

On the 20th, ZEROBASEONE released their first Japanese single 'ゆらゆら -運命の花-' ('Yura Yura -Fate Flower-'), and with their official debut, they are sweeping the local major charts, igniting the 'ZB1 boom' in Japan. First, ZEROBASEONE topped the Oricon weekly singles ranking for the week of April 1st (aggregate period from March 18th to 24th) with an estimated sales of about 302,000 copies. This is the highest sales volume ever recorded for a debut album by a foreign artist during the tally period. Additionally, ZEROBASEONE also reached the top of the Oricon weekly combined singles ranking, achieving a remarkable feat of winning two crowns on the Oricon weekly chart with their debut single.

They also achieved remarkable success on Billboard Japan. Their debut single recorded an estimated sales of 516,721 copies, reaching the top of the top single sales chart on March 27th. With this, ZEROBASEONE ascended to the status of 'half-million seller' in just a week after their debut, demonstrating explosive popularity.

ZEROBASEONE, who had already entered the top ranks of the Oricon weekly album ranking with two domestic albums before their debut, continued their momentum by entering the arena stadiums simultaneously with their debut. They held their first fan concert, '2024 ZEROBASEONE FAN-CON IN JAPAN,' at K-Arena Yokohama on the 23rd and 24th, meeting with about 53,000 fans. Tickets were sold out through pre-sales for the official fan club, and tickets for live broadcasts at over 20 CGV theaters nationwide were also sold out.
