On April 15th, Jimin's 'Closer Than This' topped the iTunes Top Song chart in the British Virgin Islands, marking his third global iTunes 'all-kill' by reaching number one in all 119 countries and regions.

Following the achievements of his first solo album title track 'Like Crazy' and the OST 'With You' from the tvN drama 'Our Blues,' which both reached number one in 119 countries worldwide, 'Closer Than This' has now also claimed the top spot in 119 countries, making Jimin the first and only artist in the world to achieve an iTunes 'all-kill' with three songs.

Furthermore, Jimin, who is rewriting iTunes history, holds the record for being the first solo artist in K-pop to have seven songs reach number one in over 100 countries and regions, including 'Filter' (118 countries), 'Set Me Free Pt.2' (113 countries), 'Vibe' (102 countries), and 'Angel Pt.1' (100 countries), the main theme song for the movie 'Fast & Furious 10.'

Meanwhile, 'Closer Than This,' released as a surprise fan song in December last year after Jimin's enlistment, has received overwhelming love worldwide, with over 123 million streams on Spotify, over 21 million views on the official music video, and over 130,000 searches on the global music search platform Shazam. Jimi continues to dominate global music sales, streaming, and search platforms despite Jimin's military service.
