JD1 is making a comeback in October

JD1 is making a comeback in October with a new digital single. On September 9th, his agency, Showplay Entertainment, announced that JD1 would release his third digital single album in mid-October. This follows his debut single Who Am I in January and his second single ERROR 405 in May, marking his third release of 2024, showcasing an impressively fast-paced schedule.

The upcoming single will feature a retro-inspired sound, marking a shift from JD1's previous concepts. Fans can look forward to seeing a new side of JD1, who is evolving as an "all-rounder artist."

JD1, an independent persona created by singer and producer Jeong Dong-won, is designed to challenge the K-pop market. He debuted with Who Am I, which quickly rose to become a contender for 1st place on music shows. 

Recently, with ERROR 405, JD1 successfully entered the Japanese market. Jeong Dong-won, who has ventured into various fields from trot to K-pop, has also taken on acting, starring in the film New Normal, and is active in variety shows, such as the new ENA program City Z Goes to the Countryside. His versatility has earned him the reputation of being a "hexagonal idol" capable of excelling in multiple areas.
