BTS's V has surpassed 435 million streams on Spotify with his song "Slow Dancing," showcasing its ongoing popularity on the world's largest music platform.

As of October 20, "Slow Dancing" reached 437 million streams on Spotify, continuing to thrive in the charts. The song is an R&B track based on 1970s soul sounds, which is a rare and unique style in K-pop. Centered around V's romantic and laid-back vocals, "Slow Dancing" offers a sense of calm, freedom, and peace, enhanced by the improvisational flute solo in the latter half of the song. As its title suggests, the track feels unhurried and relaxed.

"Slow Dancing" debuted at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart, No. 3 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. It also topped the UK Official Single Download and Single Sales charts, staying on the charts for 11 weeks and setting a new record for a K-pop solo artist.

UK magazine TimeOut ranked V's album Layover at No. 19 in their list of "The 30 Best Albums of 2023," describing "Slow Dancing" as a "soulful track that flows beautifully in sync with its choreography." Billboard also ranked Layover as the No. 2 Best K-pop Album of 2023, praising the flute solo in "Slow Dancing" as bold yet endearing, demonstrating V's commitment to his musical vision.
