BTS's Jungkook has set a new record as his solo single Seven surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify, making him the first and fastest Asian artist to achieve this milestone.

Seven, which Jungkook released in July of last year, recently exceeded 2 billion streams (pre-filter) on the global music platform. The song reached this milestone in just 467 days, accumulating a total of 2,001,921,392 streams.

With Seven, Jungkook became the fastest Asian artist in history and the fourth fastest globally among all groups and solo artists to reach 2 billion streams on Spotify.

Additionally, Seven surpassed Miley Cyrus’s Flowers (which took 502 days) to become the fastest song released in 2023 to reach 2 billion streams. Previously, Seven had already set records as the fastest song in Spotify history to achieve 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams (pre-filter). In its first week, Seven amassed 112,839,884 streams, signaling the massive success that was to come.
