The group Kiki (KiiiKiii: Jiyu, Isol, Su-i, Ha-eum, Kiya) has once again broken remarkable records.
According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on May 1st, Kiki topped the list of rookie idol groups in brand reputation for May 2025. This marks Kiki's third consecutive month at the top, following their No. 1 ranking in March and April, proving their influence. Kiki garnered attention with their activities for their first mini-album 'UNCUT GEM' following their pre-debut in February. The title track 'I DO ME' immediately climbed to No. 1 on YouTube's trending videos, and has maintained a strong position in the top ranks of various music charts, including Melon's Top 100. Notably, Kiki secured their first music show win on MBC's 'Show Music Core!' on May 5th with 'I DO ME.'
Prior to this, Kiki impressed with their exceptional live performances and unique team identity over six weeks of music show appearances, establishing themselves as a 'highly anticipated group of 2025.' They showcased their limitless concept versatility and distinctive 'Gen Z vibe' with the follow-up activities for 'BTG,' and on April 24th, they surprised fans with the release of a music video for 'GROUNDWORK,' a track from 'UNCUT GEM,' further fueling their popularity.
Kiki's unwavering No. 1 position is not only due to their music but also their diverse activities. They have graced the covers of leading domestic fashion magazines and even became the first K-pop group to appear on the cover of 10 Magazine USA, demonstrating their global presence. Furthermore, following an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, they were the only K-pop artist to be included in Rolling Stone's 'Future 25' list of the 25 most promising rookie musicians of 2025, and the British music magazine NME highlighted Kiki's debut album 'UNCUT GEM,' proving their popularity both domestically and internationally.
