G-DRAGON has unveiled the second phase of his third world tour schedule.
On May 13th, G-DRAGON posted a poster on his official fan SNS announcing additional dates for his ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch]’. According to the poster, G-DRAGON will visit Sydney and Melbourne in Australia in July, followed by Bangkok, Thailand, in August, continuing the momentum of his world tour. Notably, G-DRAGON previously performed at the Rajamangala National Stadium during the K-POP show ‘K-STAR SPARK’ in February, and this time, he is set to meet Thai fans with a solo concert, generating significant anticipation.
G-DRAGON kicked off his world tour with performances at the Tokyo Dome on May 10th and 11th. This marked his return to the Tokyo Dome after approximately 8 years since his ‘Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour’ in 2017, and he achieved a sold-out success, setting a new record as the first K-pop solo artist to do so, reaffirming his immense global popularity.
This world tour artistically expresses the philosophical concept of ‘Übermensch’ (Overman) by Friedrich Nietzsche, and features a rich performance based on a three-stage storytelling narrative of becoming a superhuman, incorporating various technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). Furthermore, G-DRAGON captivates audiences with his stage presence and unparalleled styling, eliciting explosive cheers and demonstrating his mastery as a stage artist.
