SM Entertainment’s (SM) global performance brand ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ successfully launched its tour with concerts in Mexico City and Los Angeles.

‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025’ began on May 9th (local time) at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City and continued on May 11th at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, captivating global audiences with a spectacular show featuring diverse music and performances by SM artists. The concerts were particularly significant as they marked the first SMTOWN LIVE event in Mexico and the first in Los Angeles in approximately 15 years, drawing immense attention from local fans – known as Pink Bloods – and filling the venues with a vibrant pink atmosphere.

The show featured performances from trusted SM artists including TVXQ!, Super Junior, SHINee (Key, Minho), EXO (Suho, Chanyeol, Kai), Red Velvet (Irene, Seulgi, Joy), NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Heart to Heart, Dear Alice, and SMTR25, delivering approximately four hours of fantastic stages and eliciting enthusiastic cheers and responses from the audience throughout the concert.

Kai and Heart to Heart made their debut appearances in SMTOWN LIVE, with Kai performing his solo stage “Wait On Me” and joining Suho and Chanyeol for “투지 (鬪志, Git It Up!)”. Heart to Heart showcased their youthful charm with performances of their debut song “The Chase” and track B-side “Butterflies,” making a strong impression on music fans worldwide.

Finally, all performers took to the stage together to sing “빛 (Bit – Light),” the symbolic anthem of SMTOWN LIVE, interacting closely with the audience and expressing their gratitude, bringing the concert to a heartwarming finale.

‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025,’ having successfully completed its Mexico City and Los Angeles shows, will continue its global tour on June 28th in London, UK.
