BOYNEXTDOOR Achieves 'Career High' with Comeback
The group BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved another 'career high' by topping both music and album charts immediately upon their comeback.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Riu, Myeong Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, and Eunhak)'s fourth mini-album 'No Genre' title track 'I Feel Good' topped the Bugs real-time chart on May 14th. On Melon's 'Top 100', which ranks songs based on a combination of 24-hour usage and recent 1-hour usage, 'I Feel Good' reached number 5. Their previously released song 'Today I LOVE YOU', which has consistently ranked high on the charts since its January release, also saw a rise, climbing to number 4 on the same chart. As of 6:00 AM on May 14th, 'No Genre' topped the charts in 7 countries/regions including Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, and was featured on the iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in a total of 13 countries/regions including Canada, Denmark, Mexico, Russia, and Turkey. 'I Feel Good' also made it onto the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 11 countries/regions as of the same time. Additionally, the song ranked 3rd on the 'Real-time Top Songs' chart of Line Music, a major Japanese music site.
BOYNEXTDOOR is resonating with a wide audience by creating 'life-relatable music' infused with their own individuality. Their consistent use of hand-held microphones during live performances has also been well-received. As a result, the group continues to break their own records with each release, achieving steady growth.
