SEVENTEEN Announces New Title Track 'THUNDER' for Upcoming Album

The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) is announcing a spectacular rebirth with their new song 'THUNDER'.

On May 13th at 10 PM KST, SEVENTEEN released the tracklist for their 5th full album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', through a video posted on the group’s official SNS. The album will consist of 16 tracks in total, including 3 group songs and 13 individual tracks from each of the members – the most songs ever included on a SEVENTEEN album. The title track, 'THUNDER', expresses the members’ expansion of their own worlds as they are reborn as unique individuals, using the imagery of thunder and lightning. The song was co-written and co-composed by Woozi and Bumzu, who are central to SEVENTEEN’s musical foundation, with S.Coups also contributing as a composer.

The first track, 'HBD', is an abbreviation of 'Happy Birthday'. Fans are anticipating a powerful birthday celebration song that foreshadows the members’ rebirth in celebration of their 10th debut anniversary. Another group song, 'Bad Influence', is attracting attention with its impressive credits. The song features the participation of Pharrell Williams, a world-renowned artist and producer who has won 13 Grammy Awards, as a songwriter, composer, and producer.

The solo tracks are also generating excitement. This is the first time SEVENTEEN has included individual tracks from all 13 members on an album. The8’s ‘Skyfall’, Joshua’s ‘Fortunate Change’, Wonwoo’s ‘99.9%’, Seungkwan’s ‘Raindrops’, Hoshi’s ‘Damage (feat. Timbaland)’, Mingyu’s ‘Shake It Off’, DK’s ‘Happy Virus’, Woozi’s ‘Destiny’, Vernon’s ‘Shining Star’, Jun’s ‘Gemini’, Dino’s ‘Trigger’, Jeonghan’s ‘Coincidence’, and S.Coups’ ‘Jungle’ – the titles themselves highlight the individual personalities of each member.
