MEOVV, with their song “HANDS UP,” has topped the charts on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” achieving a significant milestone in their rising popularity.

MEOVV secured the first-place trophy on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on May 15th with “HANDS UP,” the double title track from their first EP, “MY EYES OPEN VVIDE.” This win marks their second consecutive music show win. “HANDS UP,” pre-released on April 28th, is a Brazilian funk track with a fast-paced rhythm and unique synth sounds. It quickly captivated global fans with its addictive melody and dazzling performance, climbing the music charts.

Upon receiving the award, MEOVV expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are thankful to producer TEDDY and all the producers who always cherish us, as well as our management team and everyone at THE BLACK LABEL who always take care of us.” They also added with affection, “Thank you so much to our PomPoms (PAWMPAWM)!”

Since the pre-release of “HANDS UP,” MEOVV has been actively engaging with fans through various content releases, including performance videos, appearances on variety shows, and challenges with other artists. Furthermore, they are hosting a pop-up store at B2F of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, from May 12th to May 21st, showcasing their first EP album and a variety of merchandise, offering an even richer experience for fans.

Meanwhile, MEOVV released their first EP, “MY EYES OPEN VVIDE,” on May 12th, along with the music and music video for their other double title track, “DROP TOP.” “DROP TOP” offers a different, fresh vibe from “HANDS UP,” showcasing the diverse musical world of MEOVV.

MEOVV  plans to continue their active promotions with both “HANDS UP” and “DROP TOP” in the future.
