EXO’s Kai (signed to SM Entertainment) successfully concluded his first solo concert.

‘2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR <KAION>’ (2025 Kai Solo Concert Tour <Kaion>) kicked off with performances in Seoul held on May 17th and 18th at the Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Seoul. The concerts were sold out quickly, attracting a total of approximately 9,000 fans over two days, demonstrating Kai’s strong ticket power. Notably, the concert title ‘KAION’ signifies ‘Kai’s eternal beginning on stage.’ Kai shared, “I prepared everything hoping EXO-L (EXO’s fandom) would enjoy all the stages. I want to properly show you that Kai has returned, and I hope EXO-L will gain the confidence that ‘This is why I like Kai,’ and ‘My true dopamine is Kai.’ Let’s stay together forever, don’t go anywhere.”

The concert showcased Kai’s solo discography built up since 2020 through a variety of ‘world-class’ performances. Utilizing the stage design shaped like ‘KAI,’ the performance effectively expressed the breadth of Kai’s ‘charm spectrum’ – restraint and explosion, freshness and sexiness, intensity and softness – delivering a performance that was ‘more than perfect.’

Fans filled the venue dressed in ‘camouflage military’ looks, enthusiastically applauding after each stage. A surprise event during the phototime saw fans chanting “Jongin-ah Saranghae” (Jongin is Kai’s given name, meaning “Jongin, I love you”), moving Kai to tears. The concert culminated with fans singing along to ‘To Be Honest’ with Kai, creating an unforgettable memory.

Concluding the Seoul performances, Kai shared, “I was more afraid than I thought for my first solo concert, but I thought of EXO-L whenever I felt difficult. I feel energized and happy when I stand in front of you. I sincerely thank EXO-L for taking the time to be here and want to applaud you all. Let’s meet again next time.”

Kai will continue the tour with performances in Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong, covering 10 cities across Asia, following the Seoul shows.
