JYP Entertainment’s rookie boy group KickFlip has heightened anticipation for their comeback by releasing a track spoiler for their new album.
KickFlip will release their second mini album ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ and the title track ‘FREEZE’ on May 26th. JYP has been steadily releasing teasers such as trailers, tracklists, and concept photos on their official SNS channels, building excitement. On May 19th at midnight KST, they unveiled a track spoiler video, offering a sneak peek at the new songs. The video featured the energetic title track ‘FREEZE,’ followed by snippets of Let’s Go Crazy”, showcasing the members’ free-spirited charm, the rhythmic “Someday the Sun Will Explode”, the powerful ‘Electricity,’ the cheerful ‘Complicated!!,’ the thrilling ‘Code Red,’ and the lively ‘How We KickFlip.’ The spoiler included previews of all seven tracks on the new album. The video’s refreshing visuals, reminiscent of a teen movie, further captivated viewers.
Following their debut album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ and title track ‘Mama Said’ released on January 20th, ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ embodies the group’s ambition to break free from conventional molds and shake things up. The members participated in the writing and composing of some of the tracks, including the title track, demonstrating their musical capabilities.
Following their comeback activities, KickFlip will continue their momentum by performing at several overseas music festivals this summer. They are scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, from July 31st to August 3rd (local time), and at SUMMER SONIC BANGKOK 2025, held at Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 23rd and 24th, connecting with global audiences.
