BOYNEXTDOOR’s ‘No Genre’ Surpasses 1.16 Million in First-Week Sales

The group BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Riu, Myung Jaehyun, Tae San, Lee Han, Eunhak) has set a new personal record with their 4th mini album ‘No Genre,’ achieving first-week sales of over 1.16 million copies.

According to Hanteo Chart, ‘No Genre’ sold a total of 1,166,419 copies from May 13th to 19th. This represents a roughly 1.5-fold increase compared to the first-week sales of their previous mini album, ‘19.99’ (759,156 copies). ‘No Genre’ surpassed 1 million copies in sales just five days after its release, confirming BOYNEXTDOOR’s explosive growth.

The group is also continuing its success on music charts. The title track ‘I Feel Good’ quickly climbed into the top ranks of Melon’s ‘TOP 100’ the day after its release and is enjoying concurrent popularity with their January digital single ‘Today I LOVE YOU.’

The album is also receiving a warm response in Japan. ‘No Genre’ topped Japan’s Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ for two consecutive days (May 14th and 15th), and the title track ‘I Feel Good’ is maintaining its position at the top of Japan’s Line Music ‘Daily Song TOP 100.’ BOYNEXTDOOR will continue their comeback promotions through various channels, including music shows, radio, and YouTube content. Given the group’s strength in stage performances and concerts, expectations are high for their continued success.
