Boy group RIIZE will deliver eye-catching and ear-pleasing ‘stage gifts’ through YouTube content and music show appearances this week.
RIIZE will release ‘MOVE TO PERFORMANCE’ content on Mnet’s digital studio ‘M2’ YouTube channel at 9 PM KST on May 21st. They will then appear on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on May 22nd, KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ on May 23rd, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on May 24th, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on May 25th to perform their title track ‘Fly Up’.
‘Fly Up’ is a dance track reminiscent of 1950s rock and roll. It combines energetic rhythms with a grand choir, portraying RIIZE’s journey of connecting and enjoying moments with various people in a wider world without prejudice or boundaries through music and dance.
The performance features choreography by world-renowned choreographer Nick Bass, popular choreographer Choi Young-jun, and dance crew ChillLit. It includes characterization reminiscent of a ‘youth musical’, diverse formations, and a key move where the members spread their arms and leap towards the sky, mirroring the song’s lyrics.
RIIZE has also prepared stages for two popular B-side tracks for fans who have waited for their comeback. On May 22nd and 25th, they will perform the intense dance track ‘Ember to Solar’, and on May 23rd and 24th, they will showcase the charismatic hip-hop track ‘Bag Bad Back’.
The group has already achieved success with ‘Fly Up’, ranking 3rd on Melon TOP100 and 1st on HOT100, 1st on Bugs real-time charts, and 1st on Vibe’s rising charts. Their album also topped Hanteo Chart’s daily chart, QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in China (receiving ‘Platinum’ certification), and AWA’s real-time rising chart in Japan, sweeping both domestic and international music and album charts.
