BTS’s Jungkook continues to achieve remarkable success and set new records on Spotify.
Jungkook’s debut solo single ‘Seven,’ released in July 2023, ranked 74th on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart for the week of May 9th to 15th. This marks a significant climb of 9 positions from the previous week, demonstrating a steady resurgence on the charts. ‘Seven’ has now achieved a record-breaking 96 weeks of continuous presence on the chart, becoming the first and longest-running song by a solo Asian artist to do so.
Jungkook’s debut solo album ‘GOLDEN,’ released in November 2023, landed at 61st place on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ chart for the same week. ‘GOLDEN’ has also maintained a continuous presence on the chart for a record-breaking 80 weeks, becoming the first and longest-running album by a solo Asian artist to achieve this milestone. Furthermore, Jungkook entered his 103rd consecutive week on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Artists Global’ chart for the week of May 9th to 15th.
