NCT Yuta’s Japanese Single ‘TWISTED PARADISE’ Tops Oricon Rock Single Ranking for 2 Consecutive Weeks
NCT’s Yuta (SM Entertainment) is continuing his successful run in Japan, topping the Oricon charts for two consecutive weeks with his Japanese single ‘TWISTED PARADISE’.
Yuta’s single, released on May 14th, topped the Oricon Rock Single Ranking (aggregated from May 19th to 25th), marking his second consecutive week at number one and solidifying his strong presence in the Japanese rock scene. Previously, Yuta topped the iTunes Top Album charts in 8 regions, including a total of 13 regions in the Top 5, and also achieved Top 5 rankings on the Oricon Weekly Combined Single, Weekly Single, and Daily Single charts, as well as the Billboard Japan Top Single Sales chart.
The single features a total of four tracks, including the title track ‘TWISTED PARADISE’ and the new song ‘When I’m Not Around,’ along with live recordings of ‘Off The Mask’ and ‘BAD EUPHORIA’ from his first Japanese mini-album ‘Depth,’ offering a full experience of Yuta’s rock sensibility.
Furthermore, Yuta is currently holding a total of 18 ‘YUTA TALK SHOW 2025’ events across 7 cities in Japan, performing ‘TWISTED PARADISE’ and ‘When I’m Not Around’ live, further fueling local fans’ interest in the single album. Yuta will continue his ‘YUTA TALK SHOW 2025’ in Sendai, Japan on June 8th.
