NOWADAYS Changes Name to NOWZ

Cube Entertainment’s rookie boy group NOWADAYS will be changing its name to NOWZ and beginning a new chapter.

Cube Entertainment officially announced the name change and revealed the NOWZ logo motion on its official SNS channels on June 2nd. NOWZ, embarking on a rebranding just one year after their debut, signals a re-establishment of the group’s identity and a promise to present new possibilities as they rise to become a leading group. NOWZ combines ‘NOW,’ representing the present moment, with ‘Z,’ symbolizing expanded possibilities and a new beginning, rather than an end. NOWZ is composed of Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Si Yoon, and they plan to showcase their unique color and break existing formulas with their music and concepts. NOWZ debuted on April 2nd of last year with their first single, ‘NOWADAYS,’ and has since released a series of singles including ‘Rainy Day (2024 Remake ver.),’ ‘NOWHERE,’ and ‘Let’s Get It,’ demonstrating their rookie spirit and diverse charms.

Last year, NOWZ solidified their status as rising stars by winning the IS Rookie Award at the ‘2024 Korea Grand Music Awards’ and the Blooming Star Award at the ‘32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024.’ They were also selected as the protagonists of ‘Golden Choice,’ a stage for promising rookies at the ‘39th Golden Disc Awards,’ showcasing their explosive potential. Most recently, they received the ‘ASEA Hot Trend’ award at ‘ASEA 2025.’
