BTS Jin's 'Don't Say You Love Me' Tops Spotify Charts in Korea for Two Days & Japan for 18 Days – Overwhelming Popularity

BTS Jin is demonstrating his status as a global superstar and successful soloist with overwhelming popularity. Jin’s solo mini-album No. 2, 'Echo,' and its title track 'Don't Say You Love Me,' released on May 16th (Korean time), topped the Spotify Korea charts (as of June 9th) for two consecutive days, proving his immense popularity.

Jin also continues to top the Spotify Japan charts, maintaining the #1 position for 18 consecutive days (as of June 9th). He also remains #1 on the Top Artists Korea chart and has 6 songs in the Spotify Top 20 Korea, the most of any artist. 'Don't Say You Love Me' ranked 5th on the Global (Worldwide) Spotify chart.

Furthermore, 'Don't Say You Love Me' topped the Spotify Japan 'Weekly Top Songs' chart (calculated from May 30th to June 5th) for two consecutive weeks, following its #1 ranking last week.

'Don't Say You Love Me' reached #1 on the Spotify Global chart (as of May 25th), becoming the first and only song by an Asian artist to achieve this in 2025. Jin is one of only three artists – alongside Bad Bunny and Playboi Carti – to reach #1 on the Spotify Global chart with a 2025 song. 'Don't Say You Love Me' ranked 2nd on the Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (calculated from May 30th to June 5th) for two consecutive weeks, demonstrating its global popularity.

'Don't Say You Love Me,' along with Jungkook's 'Seven,' Jimin's 'Who,' and BTS's 'Dynamite,' is one of only four songs by Asian artists to reach #1 on the Spotify Global, Korea, and Japan charts.

'Don't Say You Love Me' is also demonstrating high popularity on Shazam, the world's largest music search platform, maintaining the #1 position on the Shazam Japan chart for 20 consecutive days.
