RIIZE's First Full Album 'ODYSSEY' Real-Time Production Diary Gains Attention

RIIZE (SM Entertainment) is garnering attention for their real-time content documenting the making of their first full album, 'ODYSSEY'.

On June 15th at 9 PM KST, a new episode of the real-time content 'RISE & REALIZE' was released on RIIZE's official YouTube channel. The episode vividly captures the listening sessions, recording scenes, and dance practice behind-the-scenes footage related to RIIZE’s first full album 'ODYSSEY,' alongside interviews with the six members.  Notably, in this episode, RIIZE shared their initial reactions to the title track 'Fly Up,' saying, "It feels like it's going to be a hit. It's a song that makes listeners excited and want to dance along," and "The choreography is stylish. It's an energetic and playful song that really showcases the members' personalities."

The episode also showcased the preparation process for each track. During the recording of 'Ember to Solar,' which features high notes, the members expressed their determination, saying, "(We don't shy away from difficult things) We want to do well at everything." They also shared footage of the recording session for 'The End of the Day,' where they persevered despite feeling unwell, stating, "Recording is something that will last forever, so I want to do a good job." This demonstrated their continuous growth and realization.

Furthermore, the episode showed the members carefully monitoring each other's recordings for 'Odyssey,' followed by 'Bag Bad Back,' 'Show Me Love,' 'Midnight Mirage,' 'Inside My Love,' and finally, 'Another Life,' where they expressed their affection for the album, saying, "I'm glad our album has this song."

Meanwhile, RIIZE’s first full album ‘ODYSSEY,’ released on May 19th, achieved million-seller status within a week. It also topped the May Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart, the QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart in China (and received a 'Platinum' certification), and ranked #1 on the Japan Billboard Japan Download Album Chart, Line Music Realtime & Daily Album TOP100, and AWA Realtime Rising Chart, demonstrating its global popularity.
