Kang Daniel, Returns to Music After 9 Months Today (16th) with 'Glow to Haze'

Singer Kang Daniel is making a comeback with a new album after 9 months.

Kang Daniel’s 6th mini-album, 'Glow to Haze,' will finally be unveiled today, the 16th, at 6 PM. The title track is 'Episode,' and track number 3, 'Love Game,' which Kang Daniel composed for the first time, is also a key highlight. The choreography for 'Episode' was created in collaboration with Korea’s top choreographers, including Osspicious and Choi Young-jun. The music video presents a fantastical, fairytale-like storyline, offering a fresh visual experience. 

Demonstrating top-tier performance skills and musical evolution, this marks a new chapter for Kang Daniel. Kang Daniel’s latest album is structured like a five-track movie. The first half portrays moments of brilliance, like 'Glow,' with upbeat sounds, while the latter half, reminiscent of 'Haze,' depicts fading emotions. Kang Daniel wrote the lyrics for four songs, including the title track. The album conveys a mature vocal tone and message, filled with nuanced feelings about love. The album’s pink aesthetic and love theme showcase Kang Daniel’s new charms.

The title track, 'Episode,' captures the excitement of falling in love with a blend of Latin rhythms and R&B. The choreography, created by the trendy crew Osspicious, was refined by Korea’s leading choreographer, Choi Young-jun. The focus was on connecting the overall atmosphere with the music rather than emphasizing individual movements. The music video, set in a mysterious museum, portrays Kang Daniel as a Cupid-like messenger of love, delivering a subtle and resonant message.

Furthermore, 'Love Game' is the first track Kang Daniel has ever composed. He actively participated in the production and songwriting process. Having continuously evolved with each album, Kang Daniel has now expanded his musical spectrum with a bolder step. The song cleverly uses the metaphor of a game to describe the push and pull of a relationship. The combination of sweet piano, bass, and guitar creates a tense atmosphere, complemented by the unique sounds composed by Kang Daniel.
