BTS's Jungkook's 'Standing Next to You' Surpasses 1.2 Billion Streams on Spotify… Second Personal Record 'Great Achievement'

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) Jungkook’s solo song ‘Standing Next to You’ has achieved a milestone of surpassing 1.2 billion streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, demonstrating his global presence.

Released in November 2023, Jungkook’s solo track ‘Standing Next to You’ exceeded 1.2 billion streams (unfiltered) on Spotify. Jungkook has become the second artist to achieve a song with over 1.2 billion streams on Spotify (Standing Next to You, Seven).

Previously, ‘Standing Next to You’ topped the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global chart and demonstrated strong streaming power with a long-term charting of over 370 days.

Spotify presented Jungkook with a commemorative plate-shaped frame to celebrate ‘Standing Next to You’ reaching 1 billion streams. Recently, ‘Standing Next to You’ was selected as a winner in the ‘Most Performed Songs of the Year’ category at the ‘2025 BMI Pop Awards,’ hosted by the American music copyright management organization.

‘Standing Next to You’ also performed exceptionally well on the UK Official and Billboard charts, considered the world's two largest charts.

It debuted at No. 6 on the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100' and remained on the chart for a total of 11 weeks. It also debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and charted for 19 weeks. It topped both the Billboard 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the US)' charts, charting for 45 and 51 weeks respectively.
