BTS’s Jimin’s ‘Filter’ continues to receive immense love over five years after its release.
‘Filter,’ Jimin’s solo track and a song included on BTS’s fourth full album ‘Map of the Soul:7’ released in 2020, reached 136 million streams on Melon as of June 19th. This is the highest streaming record among all solo tracks credited to BTS on Melon. Previously, on June 6th, ‘Filter’ surpassed 480 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
It is the third most streamed song from the same album, following the title track ‘ON’ and the pre-release track ‘Black Swan,’ and also holds the record for the most streamed solo track. On YouTube, the audio track has recorded 126 million views, despite not being a music video.
It has also surpassed 610,000 listens on Shazam, a global music search app, demonstrating its continued popularity on various music platforms both domestically and internationally. Notably, ‘Filter’ topped the UK iTunes Top Songs chart on July 14th, 2024, rewriting history by achieving an all-kill on iTunes in 119 countries and regions worldwide. This achievement earned BTS the honor of becoming the first group in history to achieve an all-kill on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
