JYP Entertainment’s boy group, KickFlip, is set to take the stage at one of Japan’s largest music festivals, ‘Summer Sonic 2025.’

According to an announcement on the official ‘Summer Sonic’ SNS channels on June 23rd, KickFlip has been added to the lineup for ‘Summer Sonic 2025,’ which will be held over two days, August 16th and 17th, in Tokyo and Osaka. ‘Summer Sonic’ is a large-scale, urban festival featuring a star-studded lineup of world-renowned musicians. KickFlip will perform on August 16th at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and on August 17th at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka.

This addition follows KickFlip’s previously announced performances at ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ in Chicago, Illinois, USA on August 2nd, and ‘Summer Sonic Bangkok 2025’ in Bangkok, Thailand on August 24th. With appearances at these major music festivals, KickFlip is quickly gaining recognition from global music fans. Expectations are high for the group to shine as the “next generation stage masters” on the world stage this summer, showcasing their solid live performances and impressive skills.

Recently, KickFlip has added to their success with impressive record sales and award wins. Their second mini-album, ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ released on May 26th, surpassed 346,055 copies in first-week sales (the first week after release) according to the Hanteo Chart. This achievement surpasses the first-week sales of 276,881 copies for their debut album, ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ marking a new career high and earning them a second official Hanteo Chart first-week sales certification. On June 21st, they took home the “Rookie Artist Award” at the 34th Seoul Music Awards, demonstrating their potential as “K-pop Super Rookies.”

Currently, KickFlip is promoting their follow-up single, ‘Electricity,’ following the release of their energetic and refreshing track, ‘FREEZE.’ They are captivating fans with thrilling performances through music show stages, performance videos, and appearances on the YouTube channel 1theK Originals’ ‘Dance Society,’ and other various content.
