Jimin of BTS is continuing his remarkable record on Spotify, re-entering the US charts and solidifying his position as a leading K-Pop artist.

According to Spotify, Jimin’s second album title track, “Who,” re-entered the Spotify US Daily Top Songs chart at 153rd place on June 21st. The song jumped an impressive 51 places to 102nd on the June 22nd chart, marking the largest increase on the chart and demonstrating a remarkable resurgence in popularity.

“Who” has now been charting for 325 days, extending its record as the longest-charting Korean solo song on the US chart. It also holds the record for the longest-charting Korean song in the Top 10, having spent 137 days within the Top 10. Furthermore, after its release on July 19, 2024, “Who” debuted at 18th place on the Spotify US Daily Chart, becoming the first and only Korean solo artist to reach the top spot with a non-collaborative solo track. Currently, “Who” has surpassed 367.81 million streams (filtered) on Spotify US, marking the highest streaming record for a Korean song and the second-highest for an Asian song.

Jimin is the first and only Korean artist to have two songs (“Like Crazy” & “Who”) surpass 100 million streams on the Spotify US chart, a feat achieved solely as a solo artist without collaborations, making it even more significant. He is also the first and only Korean solo artist to exceed 500 million total streams on the Spotify US chart. Jimin’s “MUSE” album has spent 45 weeks on the Spotify US Weekly Top Albums chart, setting a record as the first and only K-Pop solo album to achieve this milestone. Jimin’s popularity in the US, earning him the nickname “Jimmerica” (Jimin + America), is undeniable.
