BTS’s Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ has demonstrated its global popularity by surpassing 2.4 billion streams on Spotify, marking a significant achievement.

‘Seven,’ Jungkook’s first solo debut song released in July 2023, recently reached 2.4 billion streams (unfiltered) on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify. As of June 24th (Korean time), ‘Seven’ has accumulated 2,412,887,045 streams. Despite being nearly 1 year and 11 months since its release, ‘Seven’ continues to see a steady increase of over 2 million streams daily. ‘Seven’ has also become the first and longest-running Asian solo artist song to remain on Spotify’s main chart, ‘Weekly Top Songs Global,’ for 101 consecutive weeks.

It is also the first Asian song and the 6th fastest globally to surpass 2.4 billion streams. ‘Seven’ previously recorded unprecedented streaming milestones, reaching 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams in the fastest time in Spotify history. Additionally, ‘Seven’ became the first Asian song to top Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart for a total of 71 days and remained at the top of ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ for 9 weeks in 2023, the longest duration for any male artist song worldwide.
