Kang Daniel Proves Musical Evolution in 2 Weeks

Kang Daniel is signaling the start of a new chapter and promising a hotter summer ahead.

Kang Daniel’s sixth mini-album ‘Glow to Haze,’ released on the 16th, has left significant footprints across the board. Immediately upon release, the title track ‘Episode’ topped music charts and all tracks simultaneously lined up on the charts. According to Circle Chart, a combined indicator of data from major music service platforms, it ranked 1st in the download category. It also swept the top spot in over 10 countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore, on the iTunes chart. This reflects the enthusiastic response to Kang Daniel’s new album on music charts both domestically and internationally.

The music video also captured the attention of global music fans. It surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within the first week of its release and has now exceeded 15 million views after two weeks. Praise for the album’s overall flow and completeness, transitioning from ‘Glow’ to ‘Haze,’ has been pouring in. Notably, ‘Love Game,’ which marked Kang Daniel’s first foray into songwriting, made it even more special.

Riding this momentum, Kang Daniel achieved a triple crown on MBC’s ‘Show Music Core’ and other major music shows. Despite appearing only once on each program, he swept the 1st place trophies, confirming his immense presence. The ‘Episode’ stage captivated with its sensational performance and styling, while the ‘Movie Star’ stage showcased a refreshing and cool visual perfect for summer, capturing both eyes and ears. Kang Daniel shared, “I’m grateful for the passionate love you’ve shown for this album, which is filled with precious meaning, and I’m glad I could complete a stage to enjoy with my fans that will remain in our memories for a long time. Kang Daniel is now preparing for a more spectacular meeting with music fans through a concert. He will hold a solo concert ‘ACT:NEW EPISODE’ for two days, August 9th and 10th, at the Olympic Hall in Bangi-dong, Seoul. Adding the subtitle ‘NEW EPISODE’ to the ‘ACT’ tour, which began in October of last year, hints at a new and evolved stage.
