BTS Jimin’s ‘Who’ Achieves Record-Breaking 49 Weeks on United World Chart – A K-Pop Solo First

BTS Jimin’s ‘Who’ continues to receive immense love and recognition.
‘Who’ by Jimin has successfully charted for 49 weeks on the Tracks chart section of the United World Chart, setting a remarkable record as the first and only K-Pop solo song to achieve this milestone. The United World Chart is a weekly global music chart published by ‘Media Traffic,’ based on official charts worldwide and weighted according to the size of each country’s music market, according to the latest statistics from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
‘Who’ debuted at No. 1 on the Tracks chart of the United World Chart in week 31 of 2024 (August 3rd) with 375,000 points. As of the latest chart in week 27 of 2025 (July 5th), it remains at No. 40, making Jimin the first Korean male solo artist to achieve the record of the longest charting run – 49 weeks. Furthermore, Jimin’s first solo album ‘FACE’ recorded the highest debut sales units (including sales, streaming, and airplay) among Korean solo albums on the Albums chart of the United World Chart at the time of its release.
‘FACE’ topped the Albums chart in week 14 of 2023 (April 8th) with sales of 1,106,000 copies, setting the largest debut record in the history of Korean solo singers. It remained at No. 1 for two consecutive weeks on the chart.
In addition, Jimin holds the record as the first and only Korean solo artist to have multiple solo albums (‘FACE’ in 2023 and ‘Muse’ in 2024) enter the United World Chart Global Year-End Album Chart.
