J-Hope’s ‘Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)’ continues to gain global popularity.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on July 1st (dated July 5th), BTS’s J-Hope’s digital single ‘Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)’ ranked 90th on the main song chart ‘Hot 100.’ This marks J-Hope’s second consecutive week on the chart. The song also secured strong positions on other charts, ranking 5th on ‘Global (excluding the US),’ 6th on ‘Global 200,’ and 7th on ‘Digital Song Sales.’
Notably, BTS’s mini-album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA’ released in 2019 saw its track ‘HOME’ re-enter the charts, ranking 1st on ‘World Digital Song Sales’ and 19th on ‘Digital Song Sales.’ ‘HOME’ expresses gratitude and affection for fans, likening ‘home’ to a place one wants to return to during difficult times. This re-entry is interpreted as a reflection of the unwavering love of fans who have been waiting for a full BTS comeback.
Additionally, BTS member Suga’s solo album ‘D-DAY’ released in 2023 under the name ‘Agust D’ saw its track ‘D-Day’ re-enter the charts at 4th on ‘World Digital Song Sales.’
Solo works by BTS members continued to demonstrate their presence on ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global (excluding the US).’ Jin’s second mini-album ‘Echo’ title track ‘Don't Say You Love Me’ (40th), Jimin’s second solo album ‘MUSE’ title track ‘Who’ (93rd), and Jungkook’s solo single ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ (115th) all ranked within the ‘Global 200.’ The three tracks also secured positions of 22nd, 49th, and 58th respectively on ‘Global (excluding the US),’ demonstrating their continued popularity.
