Loco Releases New Album After 1 Year and 9 Months, First Move After Leaving AOMG "More Freedom"[Official]
Singer Loco has returned with a new album.
Loco released his 3rd full album, ‘SCRAPS’ on July 8th. This is his first release in 1 year and 9 months since his 2nd full album, ‘WEAK’ in October 2023.
Having taken the lead on everything from start to finish without an agency, Loco expressed, “I was able to work freely at AOMG, but I wanted to decide everything with my own hands more freely.” He showed satisfaction with this album, which allowed him to freely work while traveling abroad.
‘SCRAPS’ consists of a total of 12 tracks, showcasing Loco’s diverse musical attempts. Rather than perfectly refining the tracks, the album focuses on the “listening experience” by preserving the rough texture, allowing listeners to naturally focus on the inherent texture and rhythm of each track.
Collaborations with various domestic and international artists also stand out. His hip collaboration with Jordan Ward on the single ‘random summer night’ in May garnered significant attention. The pre-released deluxe single ‘Matcha High’ (ft. TAICHU, Young coco) is riding the global matcha trend and continues to gain popularity on SNS. ‘No where,’ the title track and a manifesto for ‘SCRAPS,’ was created in collaboration with Indonesian singer-songwriter Feby Putri. Feby Putri is a rising star who has garnered over 11 million monthly streams on Spotify and won an Indonesian AMI Award. The album also features collaborations with 1MILL, a representative rapper of the Thai hip-hop scene, on ‘OMG,’ and 4BANG on ‘저절로 (Naturally),’ showcasing fresh featured artists.
