SHINee’s Onew has heightened anticipation for his comeback with his chic visuals.

On July 11, Onew shared music video still cuts for the title track “ANIMALS” from his upcoming second full-length album PERCENT via his official social media channels. In the revealed photos, Onew appears in a quiet subway setting, evoking a sense of emotional disconnect and curiosity. The people around him seem lost in their own worlds — staring blankly ahead or fixated on their smartphone screens — showing a clear indifference to one another. Amid this muted atmosphere, Onew stands out with a striking red shirt, breaking the monotony and commanding attention.

PERCENT represents a personal journey for Onew — a narrative of emptiness being filled, gradually becoming whole. It reflects how he finds completeness by forming complementary relationships with the countless things he encounters in life. Onew once again took part in the overall production of this album, showcasing his growth and artistry. The album captures 11 emotions flowing like the rhythm of life, delivered through a variety of genres that enhance its depth and musicality.

To celebrate the release, Onew will host the ‘ONEW 2ND ALBUM PERCENT POP-UP STORE’ from July 15 to 27 at the Open Stage on the 1st floor of Shinsegae Gangnam in Seoul. Inspired by the ANIMALS MV set, the pop-up will feature a range of interactive content, offering fans a unique experience.

Additionally, from July 11 to August 10, a special subway ad campaign will run on a fully wrapped subway car on Line 3 of the Seoul Metro, further promoting Onew’s comeback.

Onew’s second full-length album PERCENT will be released on July 15 at 6 PM KST through various music streaming platforms.
