BTS’s Jungkook captivated global fans once again with his honey-smooth vocals and charming personality.
On July 20, Jungkook held a personal live broadcast via the fan community platform Weverse, spending meaningful time with his worldwide audience. He began the stream with just his voice, saying, “Can you hear me?” before revealing, “I bought a mic and came to test it to see if it works well for live broadcasts.” He then smiled in satisfaction, adding, “Oh, you can hear me well... the mic’s pretty good.”
Jungkook explained, “I bought a fairly good microphone for my work, but I thought it would also be nice to use for lives. I couldn’t sleep, so I dropped by,” and later showed off the new mic along with his barefaced, headset-wearing look—sweet and effortlessly handsome.
He then delighted fans by performing Justin Bieber’s “Changes,” saying, “Since Tto (Justin Bieber) hyung released a new song, I’ll sing ‘Changes,’ one of my favorites.” With his smooth pop vocals, emotional delivery, and captivating tone, Jungkook delivered a flawless live cover.

He also shared ideas for improving the Weverse Live platform: “I think it would be great to have a proper PC version, with camera setups and professional equipment—less like internet streaming and more like a high-quality Weverse Live show.”
The 30-minute live broadcast drew 4.5 million concurrent viewers and surpassed 47.4 million likes, proving his explosive popularity.
Meanwhile, his December 19, 2024 live stream titled “I Missed You So Much” reached 20.2 million cumulative viewers, the highest ever for a live broadcast on Weverse since its launch in 2019.
Recently, Jungkook also made history as the first Asian solo artist to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify with all 18 of his original tracks, further cementing his global influence.
