IVE Dominates ‘Lollapalooza Paris’ with a Flawless Stage Presence

IVE (members: An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo) lit up Europe with their fiery performance.

On July 20 at 7 PM (local time), IVE took the MAIN EAST stage at the massive music festival Lollapalooza Paris, held at the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp in France. Following last year’s appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago and earlier this year at Lollapalooza Berlin, IVE became the first K-pop girl group to perform in three different Lollapalooza cities over two consecutive years, setting a remarkable milestone in the global music scene.

For the show, the group appeared in punk-inspired outfits in shades of burgundy and black, featuring chains, leather, and metal elements that emphasized each member’s unique style while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. With all six members radiating “center-level visuals,” IVE immediately ignited the crowd with their overwhelming charisma.

They opened the concert with “REBEL HEART,” followed by “I AM,” during which a sound issue occurred. However, the members handled the situation calmly and professionally, completing the stage without missing a beat. To offer an even better experience for the audience, IVE restarted and performed both “REBEL HEART” and “I AM” from the beginning, this time flawlessly.

Leader An Yujin demonstrated calm and confident leadership throughout the situation, helping maintain a steady atmosphere. Energized by the crowd’s growing cheers, IVE delivered a hit-filled setlist including “REBEL HEART,” “I AM,” “Baddie,” “LOVE DIVE,” “ATTITUDE,” and “Kitsch,” heating up the stage with their powerful energy.

Their rich live vocals, accompanied by a live band, enhanced the performance’s impact, drawing enthusiastic responses from music fans in attendance.

IVE also performed “TKO” and “You Wanna Cry” — tracks from their third mini-album IVE EMPATHY released in February. Despite being B-side tracks, the crowd sang along in Korean, showcasing IVE’s growing global fanbase and cross-border appeal.

The group’s K-Festival Queen energy didn’t stop there. IVE further amplified the excitement with hits like “Accendio,” “ELEVEN,” “HEYA,” and “After LIKE,” which have all topped charts both in Korea and overseas. They also performed two contrasting English songs — “Supernova Love” and “All Night” — creating a sense of closeness with international fans. They wrapped up the show with “All Night,” leading a singalong in English and delivering a fiery grand finale.

Through their agency Starship Entertainment, IVE shared:

"From the moment we began preparing for ‘Lollapalooza’ to the time we spent communicating with the audience on stage — every moment was truly joyful and meaningful. We sincerely thank our global DIVE [official fan club] and local fans for their warm welcome, and we also deeply appreciate the fans in Korea who supported us from afar. We’ll keep working hard to show you even better performances.”

Meanwhile, IVE is scheduled to appear at the 2025 Coupang Play Series opening match between Team K League and Newcastle United on July 30 at Suwon World Cup Stadium. They will perform during the halftime show and participate in the ceremonial kickoff.
