“Sold-Out Beyond Capacity” — BTS’ Jin Breaks Records Again with Dallas Concert: “A Breathtaking Visual Masterpiece”

BTS’ Jin has once again proven his immense global popularity and influence as a soloist and superstar in the U.S. From June 28 to August 10, Jin is holding his first solo fan concert and world tour titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. On July 23 (local time, July 24 KST), he held the second show of his Dallas concert at the American Airlines Center (AAC).

As with his previous shows, the venue was completely sold out — even restricted-view seats were filled, and fans formed endlessly long lines for official merchandise. In front of an enthusiastic crowd that nearly shook the venue, Jin captivated fans with his peerless visuals as the “Visual King,” flawless live vocals as the “Live King,” as well as his stage presence and heartfelt fan service.

To thank fans for a heart-shaped event during the concert, Jin wore a heart-shaped hairpin made by a fan during the encore and emotionally expressed his gratitude. He sang solo tracks like “Epiphany,” drawing roaring cheers from the audience.

Official accounts like Pop Core praised the show, stating:

“At the sold-out concert in Dallas, Jin was a breathtaking visual masterpiece.”

They added:

“Jin gathered a massive audience and delivered a breathtaking symphony of vocals, visuals, fun, and charm. Every moment of the sold-out show in Dallas became a beautiful and mesmerizing experience etched in the fans’ memories.”

TouringAsiaPop’s official account also confirmed that Jin’s solo Dallas concerts were sold out beyond capacity. Tickets sold out rapidly, and Jin was referred to as “King Seokjin” for completely selling out both days. His concert became the highest-selling show ever held at the American Airlines Center.

Jin made history as the first Asian solo artist to sell out the American Airlines Center. TouringAsiaPop noted that Ticketmaster continuously released additional tickets up until the last minute to accommodate demand, exceeding the original capacity. Despite this, the venue remained sold out, setting a new record for an Asian solo artist.

In honor of Jin, the American Airlines Center gifted him with a custom-made cowboy hat, a life-sized Wootteo statue, a Run Seokjin commemorative plaque, and a custom gaming console, showing exceptional appreciation. They also created a special tribute video featuring Jin’s “The Astronaut” as the background music, stunning fans worldwide with its cinematic quality.

Dallas also lit up the city in purple to welcome the global superstar. Jin, whose album “Echo” became the best-selling album by a Korean soloist in the U.S. in the first half of 2025, will continue his solo tour in Tampa on July 26 and 27 (local time).
