Singer and actress Jung Eunji celebrated her birthday with fans through a special event.
On August 2, Jung Eunji held her 2025 JEONG EUNJI Birthday Party ‘A Day Of Life’ at Yonsei University’s main auditorium in Seoul. She met fans through two sessions at 2 PM and 7 PM. At the start of the event, Jung Eunji surprised fans by appearing from the back of the auditorium. Wearing an outfit that replicated one from her childhood photo, she radiated a lovely and energetic charm that drew an enthusiastic response.
After fans sang her a birthday song and she blew out the candles on her cake, Jung Eunji expressed her heartfelt thanks, saying,
“I’ve always been shy, so I never imagined I’d hold a birthday fan meeting, but thanks to Panda (her official fan club), I was able to gain the courage. Thank you for coming to celebrate with me.”
She performed a variety of beloved songs such as “A Girl’s Boy,” “SIMPLE IS THE BEST,” “AWAY,” “Journey to Myself,” “Box,” “STAY,” “Melody at First Sight,” “Couple,” “Short Hair,” and “Hopefully Sky,” showcasing her signature clear, pure vocals and powerful singing ability—once again proving herself as one of Korea’s top vocalists.
In her first solo concert in a while, Eunji delighted fans with a variety of entertaining segments. Embracing a first birthday party concept, she played a game titled “Mission Clear! Doljabi Meungji Marble,” where she completed missions based on traditional doljabi (first birthday fortune) items. Her quick wit and athletic skill shined as she completed each challenge with ease.
She also took time to reflect on her childhood, sharing photos and stories with fans. In a quiz segment themed after a real doljanchi (Korean first birthday celebration), she asked fans questions about baby Eunji. Winners received signed Polaroid photos and concert posters—showcasing her deep love for fans.
Eunji personally selected fans who best followed the concert’s dress code—childhood outfits. Fans showed up in colorful costumes like hanbok, princess dresses, and mascot suits, recreating their childhood selves. Eunji, impressed by the uncanny resemblance to childhood photos, filled the venue with laughter and warmth.
A surprise VCR segment showed Eunji’s vlog from her hometown, Busan, where she visited her old elementary school and neighborhood, reminiscing over fond memories and bringing smiles to everyone watching.
One emotional highlight was the “DOL Post Office” segment, where Eunji read heartfelt letters from fans, offered words of encouragement, and shared a personal letter she wrote to her younger self. Through this, she expressed deep gratitude for the courage and effort that shaped who she is today.
Following the successful birthday celebration with global fans, Eunji shared her thoughts through her agency Billions:
“Thank you for cherishing the day I was born and the life I’ve lived. It was a time that reminded me how precious and endearing those past days were.”
She added,
“I’m so thankful to Panda for making me feel like someone who is truly loved. I’ll continue working hard so that I can be someone who gives just as much love. Please keep supporting me—and until we meet again, take care.”
