BTS member Jin has once again proven his overwhelming popularity and global superstar status as a solo artist. From July 14 to 28, Jin secured 1st place in the final voting round for the "TMA Best Music – Summer" category, hosted by The Fact Music Awards (TMA) and Fan N Star. His top placement highlights his unrivaled influence and fan support.
The final round featured 20 artists who released new music between April and June (excluding OSTs and special collaborations). Finalists included BTS's Jin and J-Hope, BOYNEXTDOOR, SEVENTEEN, ASTRO, &TEAM, ATEEZ, NCT’s Mark, ENHYPEN, Tablo, and TXT.
Among these strong contenders, Jin's track “Don't Say You Love Me” claimed the No.1 spot, further showcasing his powerful presence and popularity. SEVENTEEN’s “THUNDER” came in 2nd, while BTS’s J-Hope took 3rd with “Killin’ It Girl.” As the 1st place winner, Jin will be formally awarded during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, chart data’s official account recently announced that Jin’s album “Echo” was the best-selling Korean solo artist album in the U.S. during the first half of 2025 in terms of pure sales. Notably, “Echo” was released relatively late in the half-year period (on May 16 KST), yet still achieved this remarkable record.
Jin is currently on his first solo fan concert and world tour, titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, which began on June 28 and runs through August 10. Every stop has sold out beyond capacity, setting new records. The tour kicked off in Korea and has since moved through Chiba and Osaka (Japan), Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark (USA). It will conclude with shows in London on August 5–6 (local time) and Amsterdam on August 9–10, totaling 18 performances in 9 cities.
U.S. business outlet Forbes praised Jin, writing:
