BTS’s Jin has once again proven his immense popularity and influence in Brazil.
The SEC Awards, organized by Brazilian media outlet SEC (Series Em Cena), which covers TV, film, music, and the broader entertainment industry, recently announced its winners. Jin took home the honor of "International Male Artist of the Year."
Recently, Jin also claimed first place in the final voting for the Fan N Star "TMA Best Music – Summer" category at The Fact Music Awards (TMA), beating out strong group contenders. He will be awarded at the ceremony, further solidifying his status as a global pop icon.
According to the official Chart Data account, Jin’s Echo was the best-selling album in pure sales in the U.S. in the first half of 2025 among Korean solo artists. Remarkably, despite its relatively late release on May 16 (KST), the album achieved record-breaking results.
The title track of Echo, Don’t Say You Love Me, topped the Spotify Global Chart (May 25) and became the first song by an Asian artist in 2025 to reach No. 1 on the platform’s global chart.
From June 28 to August 10, Jin has been holding his first solo fan concert and world tour, RUN SEOKJIN TOUR (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR), selling out every venue and reinforcing his reputation as the “Sold-Out King.”
The tour kicked off in Korea on June 28, followed by successful shows in Chiba and Osaka (Japan), Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark (U.S.), as well as London (U.K.). Next, Jin will perform in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on August 9 and 10 (local time, August 10 and 11 KST). In total, he will stage 18 shows across 9 cities.
