Global girl group KATSEYE, a joint project between HYBE and Geffen Records, continues to ride a wave of popularity on major U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard chart dated July 26 (local time), KATSEYE’s second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS ranked No. 24 on the main albums chart, the Billboard 200. The album debuted at No. 4 on the chart dated July 12, followed by No. 15 on July 19, and has remained in the upper ranks for three straight weeks. It also placed No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart, holding a Top 10 position for three consecutive weeks.
KATSEYE has also seen gains on global charts. The EP’s track Gabriela climbed two spots to No. 37 on this week’s Billboard Global 200 and jumped five spots to No. 28 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking its fourth consecutive week on both. Earlier, the song peaked at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 (July 12), the group’s highest position on the main singles chart to date.
Another track from the album, Gnarly, ranked No. 96 on both the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. charts. Even three months after its release, the song continues to enjoy steady love from music fans worldwide.
Within just one year of their debut, KATSEYE has appeared on both of Billboard’s main charts, rapidly expanding their influence in the U.S. pop market. They are recognized as a prime example of successfully adapting HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s K-pop production system to the local market, earning the label of “next-generation pop girl group” reshaping the global music industry.
Recently, KATSEYE collaborated with global company Mattel’s iconic character brand Monster High, releasing a reinterpretation of the original theme song Fright Song along with a music video, which drew significant attention. The six members — Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae — infused the original with fresh appeal through powerful performances and unique styling.
KATSEYE is set to take the stage at major music festivals, including Lollapalooza Chicago on August 3 and Summer Sonic 2025 in Japan on August 16–17. Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating these performances.
