TWICE’s “Strategy” Climbs to No. 69 on Billboard Hot 100, Setting Group Record [Official]
Girl group TWICE has achieved a new personal best on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with “Strategy.”
According to Billboard’s official website on August 12 (local time), “Strategy” ranked No. 69 on the main Hot 100 chart dated August 16. This marks TWICE’s highest position on the chart to date. The song, featured on their 14th mini-album and the Netflix original soundtrack for K-pop Demon Hunters, debuted at No. 92 on the August 2 chart, climbed to No. 74 on August 9, and further rose to No. 69 on August 16, achieving three consecutive weeks on the chart and a notable upward movement.
Another track, “TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG),” performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, also made the latest Hot 100, landing at No. 66. On August 10, both “Strategy” and “TAKEDOWN” charted at No. 43 and No. 39, respectively, on the U.S. Spotify chart, reaffirming their global popularity.
Recently, TWICE delivered an outstanding performance as headliners at the world-renowned music festival Lollapalooza Chicago in Grant Park, Illinois. As the first K-pop girl group to headline Lollapalooza Chicago, they garnered massive attention and enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Adding to their momentum, Chaeyoung becomes the fourth TWICE member to launch a solo project following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu. Chaeyoung is set to release her first solo album, LIL FANTASY vol.1, on September 12 at 1 PM KST, showcasing her abilities as a solo artist.
