The outstanding boys of HYBE Latin America, who dream of becoming global pop stars, are finally stepping into the spotlight.
According to HYBE Latin America on the 14th (KST), the reality series Santos Bravos, which will select members for a new male idol group in Mexico, will premiere on YouTube at 9 a.m. on the 15th (https://www.youtube.com/@santos_bravos). The series will also be available on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, starting on the 16th, and on U.S. streaming service ViX and music channel EXA TV on the 17th. Afterward, a new episode will be released every week, allowing global music fans to enjoy the content in various formats, anytime and anywhere, on their preferred platforms.
Santos Bravos is a project that combines HYBE’s systematic artist scouting and training system with the unique cultural and artistic sensibilities of Latin America. Sixteen audition participants, selected in the first round from countries and regions including Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, and the United States, will compete for a spot in the debut lineup of the group that will bear the same name as the series.
This marks HYBE’s second large-scale Latin market project under its “Multi-home, Multi-genre” strategy aimed at the global music market. HYBE Latin America has already proven its potential with Pase a la Fama, the first-ever local band audition program. Since its launch in June, the program has achieved the No. 1 viewership rating in its time slot among U.S. Spanish-language broadcasts, attracting 688,000 viewers for its first episode (based on Nielsen ratings), and generating a strong response.
