BTS’s Jimin has achieved yet another dazzling milestone on Spotify, showcasing his immense global popularity.
Jimin’s second solo album MUSE recently surpassed 3.2 billion streams on the world’s largest music platform, Spotify, becoming the fastest Korean-language album to do so. Released on July 19, 2024, MUSE reached the mark on August 15—just 393 days after its release—setting a new record as both the first and only solo Korean-language album to hit 3.2 billion streams. It also remains the only K-pop album released in 2024 to achieve this milestone.
The title track Who, which charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 33 weeks even during Jimin’s military service, continues to lead the album’s streaming performance. Who has now accumulated over 1.918 billion streams on Spotify and is on the verge of crossing 2 billion.
Released after Jimin’s enlistment in 2023, the fan song Closer Than This, also included in MUSE, has reached 292 million streams and is steadily approaching 300 million. Meanwhile, Be Mine has surpassed 269 million streams, and Smeraldo Garden Marching Band has 236 million. With four out of the album’s seven tracks exceeding 200 million streams, Jimin’s formidable streaming power is once again on full display.
Other tracks are also maintaining strong momentum: Slow Dance has garnered over 113 million streams, and Rebirth crossed the 100 million mark on July 8. Even the instrumental track Interlude: Showtime has recorded 91 million streams, putting all seven tracks from MUSE on the brink of surpassing 100 million each.
Meanwhile, Jimin’s Who ranked No. 111 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 77 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart dated August 16, marking its 55th consecutive week on the charts and proving its ongoing, unwavering popularity.
