AtHeart’s Debut Song “Plot Twist” Tops Kuguo Music’s Korea Chart
The group AtHeart is achieving remarkable results for a rookie group with their debut song “Plot Twist.”
According to Kuguo Music, one of China’s four major music platforms, AtHeart’s first EP and its title track “Plot Twist” reached No. 1 on the Korea chart. Additionally, “Plot Twist” also entered the rankings on QQ Music’s Korea chart and NetEase’s Korea chart. Notably, the growth of AtHeart’s followers and listeners on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, has been explosive. Compared to a week after the release of their pre-debut song “Good Girl (AtHeart),” their Spotify followers have increased by 560%, and listeners by 554%.
AtHeart’s popularity on the global streaming platform YouTube is also strong. Their debut track “Plot Twist” has surpassed 15 million streams, while the music video has also exceeded 15 million views, firmly establishing the group as a “next-generation global icon.”
Moreover, AtHeart has drawn attention from major media outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, MTV, and NME immediately after their debut. Amid this surge of interest, the group was selected by Billboard as the “K-pop Rookie of the Month.”
“Plot Twist” represents AtHeart’s first steps toward soaring in the music industry. The five-track debut EP explores the inner world of the girls as they confront themselves honestly amid unpredictable twists and turns, each song expressing a unique color and emotion.
