Junho, member of the boy group 2PM and an established actor, has secured 2nd place in the Star Ranking male idol category.
In the 201st Star Ranking male idol vote held from August 28 at 3:01 PM to September 4 at 3:00 PM (KST), Junho garnered 30,848 votes, placing him in 2nd. BTS’s Jimin took 1st with 55,443 votes, while Jin followed in 3rd with 16,032 votes.
Star Ranking is a fan-driven ranking system where fans directly vote for their favorite stars. Voters can also receive a voting certificate via mobile, and stars benefit from special perks depending on their rank. A star who ranks No. 1 for four consecutive weeks earns a spot in an outdoor billboard advertisement, and their fans can also organize support by submitting outdoor ad video proposals to Star News’ official email (star@mtstarnews.com). The 202nd round of voting runs from September 4, 3:01 PM to September 11, 3:00 PM.
Meanwhile, Junho has been selected as an MC for the 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA 2025), alongside IVE’s Jang Wonyoung. The two will host the ceremony on December 6, celebrating the brightest artists of the year.
Hosted by Star News and organized by the AAA Organizing Committee (Chairman Park Joon-chul) and Motive Production (CEO Cho Hyun-woo), the “10th Anniversary AAA 2025” will span two days, with the awards ceremony on December 6 and the “AAA Festa” on December 7. Junho and Jang Wonyoung are expected to showcase dazzling chemistry as co-hosts of the milestone event.
Recently, Junho also shared news of a fresh new beginning, having departed from JYP Entertainment to establish his own one-man agency, O3 Collective.
