In the 212th round of voting for the 5th week of August, which took place from 3:01 PM on August 28 to 3:00 PM on September 4, Song Ga-in claimed first place with 77,544 votes. With this, she has remained on the throne for 212 consecutive weeks, living up to her title as the “Trot Queen.”
Following her, Kim Tae-yeon took second place with 26,154 votes, and Kim Da-hyun ranked third with 18,615 votes. Kang Hye-yeon came in fourth with 7,928 votes, and Hongja placed fifth with 3,419 votes.
On August 27 at 6 PM, Song Ga-in released her new single “Love Mambo” through various music streaming platforms. The song was specially written and composed for her by veteran singer Seol Woon-do.
