Boy band DAY6 commemorated their long-awaited 10th debut anniversary together with their fans.
On the 7th, DAY6 held “DAY6’s FREE Radio” through their official YouTube channel to celebrate the milestone and share memories with their fandom, My Day. “DAY6’s FREE Radio” is a self-produced content series they had previously showcased in 2016 and 2018, beloved for the members’ chemistry as radio DJs.
The members shared, “When we think that the result of our 10 years of activities is what we have now, we feel proud and fulfilled. We believe the times we’re spending these days will remain deeply in our memories. If fans enjoy the content we’ve prepared for the 10th anniversary, that alone makes us grateful.”
Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon reminisced about their starting point as a band, from their debut day to their showcase, while also looking back on key milestones in DAY6’s journey, such as the “Every DAY6 Project,” the evolution of their rehearsal rooms, and moments that strengthened their teamwork.
In particular, they expressed heartfelt gratitude to their long-time companions, My Day: “Thank you for trusting us and following along all this time. From now on, we want to be the ones to lead. We believe the very meaning of DAY6’s existence is to give comfort and strength. We will continue to stand tall as a group that can do that, so whenever you feel weary, we hope you’ll come to us. Thank you also for discovering us and choosing us.”
