LE SSERAFIM Proves Their Popularity as the First K-Pop Girl Group to Appear on America’s Got Talent
LE SSERAFIM has earned yet another “first” title.
On September 11 (KST), LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) will appear on NBC’s flagship variety program America’s Got Talent. This marks the first-ever appearance by a K-pop girl group on the show, and only the second overall by a Korean act, following BTS.
America’s Got Talent is a long-running audition program where participants with diverse talents compete. It enjoys massive popularity in the U.S. and worldwide, and is currently in its 20th season. LE SSERAFIM’s invitation to the show was largely driven by strong interest in their performances.
The group has already impressed American audiences with powerful stages at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and NBC’s flagship morning program TODAY Show. They also made waves by lighting up New York’s iconic Empire State Building in their official team color. Through consistent efforts, LE SSERAFIM has built a solid fanbase in the U.S., which has now translated into broader mainstream recognition.
