DAY6 has released a documentary celebrating their 10th debut anniversary.

On September 9, DAY6 posted the video “DAY6 10th Anniversary Documentary <DAY6: Time of Our Decade>” on JYP Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. The film captures DAY6’s heartfelt stories — from the moment they were first offered to form a band, to anecdotes from their career, and their genuine affection for the team. From their early days performing on small stages in 2015 to over a decade of shared memories, friendship, and reflections on the past, present, and future, the documentary touched the hearts of their fandom, My Day.

Young K appeared first, saying, “Looking back now, I think somehow I would have ended up in a band anyway. At first, I didn’t want music to consume my entire life, so I even created a stage name. But as time went on, music naturally became deeply ingrained in my life.”

Wonpil reflected on the Every DAY6 project: “When we held our December concert in 2017, I felt like, ‘We did it.’ The following year, we performed at Olympic Hall, and our fans filled every seat. At that time, Olympic Hall felt enormous to us, and it made me so happy. It felt like we were being rewarded for everything we went through in 2017. Honestly, the only reason we were able to release two songs every month and hold concerts was because of My Day.”

Leader Sungjin spoke about how time had strengthened their bond: “I think I lived really passionately in my 20s. I realized that I was playing the role of someone who searches for things, and I felt grateful that the members cared so much about me. That’s when I thought, ‘Wow, I’m truly sincere about DAY6.’”

Dowoon recalled the group’s resurgence during their hiatus with the belated popularity of songs like “You Were Beautiful” and “Time of Our Life”: “It was amazing and really surprising. The reason we can continue to exist is because of our fans. I’m deeply thankful.”
