BTS’s Jungkook continues his record-breaking run on Spotify, showcasing his global popularity.


Jungkook’s first solo debut single “Seven”, released in July 2023, ranked No. 88 on the world’s largest music streaming platform Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for the week of August 29–September 4. “Seven” has now remained on the chart for 112 consecutive weeks, setting a historic new record as the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist.


Jungkook’s first solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023, also ranked No. 66 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the same period. It became the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist, staying on the chart for 96 weeks.

Additionally, Jungkook ranked No. 185 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Artists Global chart for the week of August 29–September 4, extending his career total to 118 weeks on the chart.


Previously, Jungkook had topped the Daily Top Songs Global chart with all three tracks—“Seven”, “3D”, and “Standing Next to You.”

On Spotify, “Seven” surpassed 2.53 billion streams, becoming the first song by an Asian artist to do so, while GOLDEN exceeded 6 billion cumulative streams, the first Asian solo album to reach the milestone.

Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile, counting all credits, has reached a cumulative 9.5 billion streams—the fastest ever for an Asian artist and the first for a K-pop soloist.

Meanwhile, the official music video for Jungkook’s “Seven” has surpassed 550 million views on YouTube.
