Boy group NEWBEAT is solidifying their status as a “monster rookie.”
According to an exclusive report by Star News on the 16th, NEWBEAT (Park Minseok, Hong Minseong, Jeon Yeoyeojung, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Cho Yunhoo, Kim Riu) is currently working on music with the goal of making a comeback in October.
NEWBEAT, a 7-member all-Korean boy group under Beat Interactive—home to Forestella and Park Inhwan—debuted this past March. They are the company’s first boy group launch in about 8 years since A.C.E. Notably, they made their debut with a full-length album, a rare move for a rookie idol group, earning them the reputation of being an act you can “trust to listen to and trust to watch.”
Some members had already appeared in various activities prior to debut, helping expand the group’s fandom. Park Minseok gained recognition through Mnet’s Boys Planet, while Jeon Yeoyeojung is a former member of the boy group TO1.
Proving themselves as “all-rounder idols” from the start, anticipation is high for NEWBEAT’s first comeback this October and what new concept they will bring to capture the eyes and ears of K-pop fans worldwide.
