Global fans are celebrating his unprecedented achievement.
According to a report released by leading fashion analytics company Launchmetrics on October 18, Jimin’s attendance at the Dior SS26 Women’s Fashion Show on October 1 resulted in an MIV of $33.8 million, marking the highest value among all K-pop idols across the four major fashion weeks — Paris, Milan, London, and New York — this year.
MIV (Media Impact Value) quantifies the estimated monetary worth of media coverage, social media mentions, and press exposure, measuring the global attention an artist or brand receives.
Remarkably, Jimin’s MIV accounted for 18% of Dior’s total MIV, surpassing the entire MIV of the brand ranked 10th at Paris Fashion Week. Fashion media outlet No Manners Magazine praised this as an example of Jimin’s “exceptional global influence.”
At Dior’s SS26 Paris Fashion Week, Jimin ranked No. 1 overall, outperforming BLACKPINK’s Jisoo ($30.5 million), Jennifer Lawrence ($7.5 million), Mikey Madison ($4.8 million), and Greta Lee ($3.7 million).
